Less than 1% Christian

Vietnam is a beautiful costal country boasting almost 90 million people, and over 54 different ethnic groups. Less than 1% of these 90 million are evangelical Christians. All open missionary work ceased after 1975, and missionaries are still not legally allowed in Vietnam. AGWM currently has twelve personnel serving these 90 million people. This restricted access country is using “all possible means” to reach the unreached. A coffee house, an international group and a compassion project are a few of these ways. If you’re up for the challenge, join us!

CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES IN THAILAND:

Master’s Cup Coffee House

We are looking for native English speakers for our coffee house, Master’s Cup, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This unconventional ministry provides constant opportunities to build friendships in a non-threatening atmosphere of English speaking rooms for those who are trying to improve their English. You will also be involved in a variety of capacities including humanitarian projects and an orphanage outreach. If you love relationship building and speaking into people’s lives, you will love this ministry!

The River (ICA) Vietnam

We are an international fellowship reaching out to the English speaking community in a major metropolitan city in a restricted access nation. We have specialized ministries for youth, children and adults with classes on Sundays and during the week. Special non-religious activities develop a healthy network of steadily growing contacts in this fluid sector of professionals. We are launching a specialized ministry to the children who need supplemental English instruction. It will give us a platform in the community and another way to interact. We need five 1-year interns each year from 2014-2016 who can work in a team environment, ready to befriend the lost community and serve those who are followers.
